Lola Judy (Wasmann)Lola spent the first 20 years of her business career in the hospitality industry. As a certified hotel manager, she learned first hand the importance of delivery of service. Most of her career, she worked for Holiday Inn Corporation and Doubletree Hotels. While with Doubletree Hotels, she worked extensively with movie crew production companies not only housing the entire movie crews and stars but also catering their meals on location. They were long days; beginning at 3:00 AM and often continuing until 8:00 PM, 6 days a week.
Looking for more realty in her life, Lola crossed over to retirement housing in 1988. She worked for Beverly Enterprises managing independent retirement communities in both Arizona and California. In 1992, Lola received her assisted living certification and began helping mature adults with their activities of daily living providing them safety and comfort in their community apartment homes.
Expanding those activities of daily living into the private home settings, Lola now watches over many seniors as she provides the services and companionship of caregiving to each unique individual wherever they may reside.
“I believe that given the choice, most every one would prefer to stay in their home in place of being institutionalized. At Sun Cities CareGivers, we help make that choice possible.”
Lola is the proud recipient of *Benevilla's "Ninth Annual Legacy Champion Award". This award recognizes professionals who support Benevilla by providing services to the community, and giving back to those they serve professionally.
*Benevilla is a non-profit organization providing adult social care and support services for seniors, adults with disabilities, children, and the families who care for them. To reach them for more information:
